On July 14, 2017, in the city of Kovel, the NGO "Gesture Of Support" held an action called "Healthy Nation Against Discrimination Against People with Disabilities" in support of people with physical disabilities.

The event was attended by representatives of the Kovel District State Administration, Kovel City Council, civic activists, city and district residents, and people with disabilities.

In order to draw public attention to the problems of people with disabilities, the event began with a march along the main street of Kovel, during which the participants carried posters and talked to people, a brass band played, and children carried balloons. Performances by people with disabilities on the central stage added to the festive atmosphere. During the event, residents of the city had the opportunity to learn about various programs for people with disabilities and much more.
