On February 13, 2025, the NGO "Gesture of Support" visited the Volodymyr Special School of the Volyn Regional Council - the only institution in the region where children with special educational needs are provided with high-quality educational and correctional and rehabilitation services. Highly qualified teachers-defectologists work here: deaf teachers, speech therapists, a social psychologist and a practical psychologist.

During the meeting, the organization's volunteers played interesting games, talked with children and showed interesting stories. They also talked about the importance of a healthy lifestyle. Special attention was paid to the topic of emotional well-being. The school has 110 children, including children with hearing impairment, autism spectrum disorder and Down syndrome.

In addition to communication, representatives of the NGO "Gesture of Support" handed over the necessary medicines and equipment to provide home medical care to the institution. Each child also received a gift, which was a pleasant surprise for the little ones.
