The public organization "Gesture Of Support" became a member of the public union "All-Ukrainian Public Association "National Assembly of People with Disabilities of Ukraine" (PU AAPDU).

The All-Ukrainian Public Association of the National Assembly of Persons with Disabilities was established on September 22, 2001 to unite public organizations whose members are people with disabilities, coordinate actions and consolidate their efforts aimed at improving the situation of people with disabilities in Ukraine, promoting the protection of their constitutional rights, increasing their role and social status in society.

The All-Ukrainian PU of the National Association of People with Disabilities includes 118 national and regional public organizations of people with disabilities.

The network of organizations is represented in all regions of Ukraine.

Objectives:

- Assistance and participation in the formation of state policy to address social problems of persons with disabilities and ensure their rights;

- participation in the development of the relevant legislative and regulatory framework for social protection of persons with disabilities;

- informing the public about the state of addressing the problems of persons with disabilities in the country;

- promoting public awareness of positive attitudes towards citizens with disabilities;

- international activities and implementation of international legal documents.

The National Assembly of Persons with Disabilities of Ukraine actively cooperates with the Presidential Administration of Ukraine, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, ministries and agencies.
