From 24 to 27 April 2025, a retreat for military personnel, veterans and their families is being held near Kovel at the Ednist recreation centre in a pine forest.
Four days in the middle of nature, with comfortable accommodation, delicious cuisine, spiritual and psychological support, workshops, sports and creative activities, is a space for relaxation, emotional recovery and strengthening of family ties.
The retreat programme includes children's and family activities, board games, fishing, art therapy, pottery, meetings with psychologists and chaplains, romantic evenings, live music and much more.
The main goal of the event is to allow our defenders to spend time with their loved ones, gain new strength and feel the gratitude of society for their sacrificial struggle.
The event was opened with the participation of government officials. In particular, Alla Ganich, Deputy Head of the Lutsk District State Administration, noted the importance of the Gesture of Help initiative and addressed the participants with words of support:
‘Your contribution to the fight for the territorial integrity and independence of Ukraine is invaluable. I thank you for your courage and your families for their support. It is thanks to you that Ukraine is holding on and bringing victory closer.’
